In this episode, Professor Eric Van Cutsem, head of the digestive oncology department at the University Hospitals Leuven, talks us through the highlights in gastro-intestinal cancer presented during ASCO 2021. He starts off with some of the highlights in upper gastro-intestinal tumours, with a particular focus on several  randomised controlled trials evaluating immunotherapy-based treatment regimens in patients with gastro-oesophageal cancer. The second half of the podcast focusses on the lower part of the gastro-intestinal tract and addresses the key results of pivotal studies in pancreatic, bile and colorectal cancer.
